El diccionario Logos ofrece, entre otras muchas, una función muy útil que permite acceder a las definiciones de las palabras que contiene como si se tratara de un diccionario monolingüe. Sin embargo, al tratarse de un diccionario multilingüe, presenta la definición en cada uno de los idiomas presentes. El siguiente es un ejemplo práctico:
Busco en el diccionario la palabra "casa". Se abre una página que contiene la traducción de "casa" en una larguísima lista de idiomas:
Se observa que aparecen 108 traducciones de "casa", algunas acompañadas de un cuadro verde claro con la letra "L". Para ser precisos, en este caso existen definiciones en 18 de los idiomas. Naturalmente, esto se debe a que hasta ahora no hay coautores que hayan introducido las definiciones en su idioma de los noventa restantes.
Si se pulsa en la L junto a la palabra "house", vemos esta definición: "A structure serving as a dwelling for one or more persons". Podemos hacer lo mismo en los demás idiomas:
